Ubuntu 11.10 – WIFI slow after wake from sleep

Simple solution:
sudo rmmod wl
sudo modprobe wl

I get heavy packet loss to my router (50-60%). To confirm try:
$ mtr `route |grep default | awk '{print $2}'`

My WiFi card:
$ lspci -vv |grep Network -A10
